Rainbow gives youngsters more room to grow...Rainbow Early Years officially opened its new building in July 2013, Since then we have developed our building further, in addition we received a lottery funding grant for a wooden sculpture designed by Neath Art.The building is situated on Holbrook Lane in Trowbridge and offers fa sensory room, large main play area, quiet room and sensory garden which includes a mud kitchen, bug house and sand pit. We are recognised for our relationship with children and listening to their needs, diversity and inclusion, the indoor environment and how it’s set up, and how we encourage children to be independent to learn and our building helps us to continue to maintain this in our daily practice. Please follow this link for pictures of our wonderful building.Mark Making...Some children at Rainbow’s are beginning to show a keen interest in making marks. They enjoy using chalks, paint, shaving foam, pens, pencils and other resources too. Mark making doesn’t have to be just on paper with a pencil, children really enjoy chalks outside on the patio, something parents could re create at home.
We are open from 8.30am until 3.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only. For a full break down of our term times and TT dates Rey will be closed for training, please follow this link.
